Valeriia completed her mechanical engineering degree at MIT as an international student from Ukraine. Throughout her academic career, she conducted renewable energy research and received a power generation patent at the age of 16. Before founding EQORE, Valeriia worked at the Barcelona-based X1 Wind and in Tesla’s battery department. She's fluent in 3 languages, enjoys creative writing, and has published numerous poems in Ukrainian.

Donald has been involved in small business management for most of his life, working on multiple different ventures in South Florida that ranged from shopping centers to movie theaters. He brings in over 6 years of hands-on experience in construction and permitting. He graduated from Duke university with a major in computer science and economics and worked on data analysis for Capital One. In his free time, Donald loves traveling and exploring extreme sports.

Jorge is skilled in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering. He has been experimenting with a variety of interdisciplinary technical projects from an early age. Jorge worked in product and battery design at Apple and Electric Era, an EV charging startup, and holds two degrees in mechanical engineering from MIT. Unless he is busy tinkering, Jorge never misses a chance to go sailing on the Charles river, and loves discovering new fishing locations.

Letter from the founders
Businesses are being hit the hardest by rising electricity costs. A facility owner we talked to shared: "I wish you had offered your solution a few years ago. The electricity got too expensive — we had to shut down." That business laid off its entire workforce — people who had been there for decades. It’s devastating. As the children of entrepreneurs, we feel the weight of those decisions.
Valeriia’s mother ran a facility in Ukraine that repaired large power systems — founded by her grandfather. Donald’s dad built a construction business from the ground up. And Jorge’s father ran an industrial bakery that fed schools, airports, and the local community. We grew up watching the sacrifices, the risks, and the resilience it takes to build a sustainable business. We know what a decision to move or shut it down means. We know, we care, and we can help. So we started by asking why electricity became such an issue?
Turns out, the grid is struggling to keep up with the rapid adoption of renewables. The power’s generated when the sun is shining or the wind is blowing, but not necessarily when we need it most. The lack of storage to hold that energy until it's useful creates an imbalance of supply and demand, and the costs of managing it continue to be passed on to you.
With EQORE, we can change that.
Our solution is built to be highly scalable, stacking revenue streams to create an asset that supports your business for years to come. It gives you greater energy autonomy, lowers your costs, and puts control back in your hands.
We know what’s at stake, and we’re here to help.
